Occupational Safety and Health Convention, 1981 is an International Labour Organization Convention.
It was established in 1981, with the preamble stating:
Having decided upon the adoption of certain proposals with regard to safety and health and the working environment,...[1]
In 2002, an additional protocol was adopted to this convention.[2]
Ratifications
The convention is ratified by 56 countries, as of 2009,[3], and the protocol by 6 countries.[4]
