Etalbond is the brand name for aluminium composite panels made by ELVAL Colour S.A. Composite panels consist of a polymer core bonded between two pre-painted aluminium sheets. Their main applications range from internal and external cladding for buildings and signs.
Design
Etalbond consists of:
- The front aluminium sheet, pre-painted with different coating systems (PVDF, PE, etc) depending on the end-use.
- The polymer core
- The back aluminium sheet, pre-painted with primer
The total thickness of etalbond ranges from 3 to 6mm.
Etalbond is produced in a very wide range of standard and non-standard colours.
Advantages
The main advantages of etalbond are:
- increased rigidity and durability
- low weight
- weather and UV resistance
- easy forming and processing
Applications
Etalbond is mainly used for external and internal architectural cladding or partitions, false ceilings, signage, machine coverings, container construction etc.
