Dr. Bunin received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in Bio-organic Chemistry, where he synthesized the first 1,4 benzodiazepine libraries with Professor Jonathan Ellman.[2]

Prior to starting Collaborative Drug Discovery, he was the founder and CEO of Libraria, Inc (acquired by Eidogen-Sertanty in 2003).[3]

He has also written two books: "Chemoinformatics: Theory, Practice, and Products," an overview of modern chemoinformatics technologies and "The Combinatorial Index," on high throughput synthesis.
