Simple design

Get an old time well bucketenough rope to reach bottom of well. Build a tripod over well casing and hang rope over pulley, Get a used 4 speed truck transmission put a large pulley on input shaft then get an old cream can and to make a winch drum out of it fasten to transmission out put shaft mount homemade winch on brackets near well,attach small pulley to electric motor of your choice 12Vdc (Old ford starter motor has been used) or 1/4 horse 110 ac.attach belt to pulleys

Operating: wind some rope around cream can drum lower bucket into well running in reverse until you hear it gurgle(filled) ,put transmission into second gear Pop top from beer through switch and guide rope onto drum (better mark rope near top so you have warning as here she comes Look out)
