Anhidrosis means lack of sweating. It is also known by a number of other names including Adiaphoresis[1][2][3][4], Ischidrosis[1], Hypohidrosis[5]:778, Oligidria, Oligohidrosis and Sweating deficiency.

Causes
Anhidrosis may be caused by underactivity of the sympathetic nervous system. Eccrine sweat glands are innervated via muscarinic acetylcholine receptors; hence, anti-muscarinic drugs cause anhidrosis.[citation needed]
