Cause
If bones and skin on the face are causing the eyes to spread apart too far the eyes may start moving by themselves not at all being influenced by the other. Each eye becomes influenced by what it views and each is focused on that view, causing the deviation.
Treatment
According to recent studies structure of the bones and skin could be the answer to stopping this. This can probably be achieved by a certain surgery of some sort. A change in posture could also help heal the deformed bones.
