The pulmonary blood vessels are those blood vessels which carry blood to and from the lungs.

The pulmonary arteries, which carry blood from the heart to the lungs, are the only arteries which carry deoxygenated blood. Conversely, the pulmonary veins, carrying blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart, are the only veins carrying oxygenated blood.
