Energy Ball V100

The Energy Ball V100 is a spherical small wind turbine for small scale energy production, produced by Home Energy International. The annual yield is up to 15% of the energy demand of an average household.

The turbine is characterized by the 6 curved turbine blades which form a sphere.

The Energy Ball uses the venturi effect: due to the shape of the turbine blades the wind is accelerated creating a low pressure area within the sphere, thereby using a larger area of wind than wind turbines of comparable diameter.
