This template will categorize tagged articles into a cleanup category according to the month and year given.
- Example: {{cleanup|May 2024}} → Category:Cleanup from May 2024.
If no date is given, articles will be categorized into the more general Category:Wikipedia cleanup
This template is a self-reference. This template is not useful for Wikipedia:Subst.
