Please use the optional date parameter, e.g. {{Cleanup|May 2024}}. This helps with the categorisation of articles requiring cleanup. Articles tagged with this template will be sorted into the Template:Cleanup-date format by a bot. This template will add tagged articles to Category:Wikipedia cleanup.
- Please do not subst: this template.
- The simplest way to add this template to an article is to copy and paste
{{Cleanup|{{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}}}at the top of the article, or use{{subst:Cleanup-now}}. - For section cleanup, use {{Cleanup-section}}.
