Brudziński reflex

The Brudziński reflex is a clinical sign in which passive flexion of one leg causes flexion of the opposite hip and knee. Additionally, when one leg is flexed and the other is extended, lowering the flexed leg causes flexion of the opposite leg. The sign occurs in patients with meningitis.[1]
The sign is named after Józef Brudziński.
