I keep the bug out bags in my car trunk, always. They are in backpacks. Individual packs.
In each pack:
survival knife kit(w/ ball compasses, etc in them)
magnesium fire striker
space blanket
fleece blanket
poncho
bar soap
travel toothbrush, hairbrush, elastics
travel shampoo
chapstick
sunblock
bug spray
hat
mess kit
mess kit silverware
canteen
built in water filtration bottle w/ holster
emergency tent
battery free crank flashlight/radio
glow stick
chewy granola bars
camping collapsible shovel
