E7080 is a multi-kinase inhibitor. It is an inhibitor of both VEGFR2 and VEGFR3 kinase. It has been evaluated in vitro (pre-clinical) for anti-cancer effects.[1]
Clinical trials
It has had promising results from a phase I clinical trial in 2006[2] and is being tested in several Phase I and II trials as of October 2009[update], for example against hepatocellular carcinoma[3] and non-small cell lung carcinoma[4].
