eXplorBot is an robot a prototype security and surveillance robot created by Openware Robotics, Inc. in September 2002. The eXploreBot never made it to the production phase, but instead was used as a testing platform for software and sensor development. There were 4 versions of the eXplorBot; the PTX 1,2,3, and 4 series.
