Therapeutic Targets Database (TTD, Link) is a database provided by Bioinformatics and Drug Design Group in National University of Singapore, which provides information about the known and explored therapeutic protein and nucleic acid targets [1][2][3], the targeted disease, pathway information and the corresponding drugs directed at each of these targets. Also included in this database are links to relevant databases containing information about target function, sequence, 3D structure, ligand binding properties, enzyme nomenclature and drug structure, therapeutic class, clinical development status [4].
Content
This database currently contains more than 1500 targets, including >300 successful, >250 clinical trial and >1000 research targets, and more than 4000 drugs, including >1500 approved, >1000 clinical trial and >1500 experimental drugs. Targets and drugs in this database cover 61 protein biochemical class and 140 drug therapeutic classes respectively [4].
