Sofalcone (INN) is an oral gastrointestinal medication. It is a synthetic derivative of sophoradin,^[1] a chalcone, a type of polyphenol found in Sophora tonkinensis (or Sophora subprostrata), a herb used in traditional Chinese medicine.
