Sour Watermelons in Barrel

  1. Put small watermelons in wooden barrel.
  2. Put apple and cherry leaves on top and bottom.
  3. Solution: 1 pail water, 1-cup salt.
  4. Mix well. Pour over watermelons. Put weight on top to keep watermelons from floating.

Ready to eat in 3-4 weeks.
