Lumiliximab is a monoclonal antibody that targets CD23. It acts as an immunomodulator[1] and, as of October 2009[update], it is being investigated in Phase I and II clinical trials for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia.[2][3] The drug is a chimeric antibody from Macaca irus and Homo sapiens.[1]
