Flutemazepam is a drug which is a benzodiazepine derivative that has hypnotic and anxiolytic properties. It is most closely related in structure to lormetazepam.[1] Flutemazepam has properties similar to temazepam, and it has been found to be very effective for the treatment of severe states of anxiety, panic attacks, and severe insomnia.[2]
