Protokylol (Asmetil, Caytine, Palison, Ventaire) is a ß-adrenergic receptor agonist used as a bronchodilator in Europe and the United States.[1]

Interestingly protokylol contains MDMA in its chemical structure, and if the 1-hydroxy-ethyl]benzene-1,2-diol moiety could be cleaved, MDA would be obtained relatively easily.[2]
