Levonordefrin (Nordefrin), also known as α-Methylnorepinephrine (α-Me-NE), is a drug used as a topical nasal decongestant and vasoconstrictor in dentistry. It is also a metabolite of the antihypertensive drug methyldopa, and plays a crucial role in its pharmacology and therapeutic benefits.
