Fenpentadiol (Tredum, Trefenum) is a drug formerly used as an antidepressant in Europe.[1][2] It also has stimulant, sedative, and anxiolytic effects, with the latter two occurring only at higher doses.[3][4] Its mechanism of action has never been determined but it has been suggested that it may act as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor and/or GABAergic.[5]
