Fenpentadiol (Tredum, Trefenum) is a drug formerly used as an antidepressant in Europe.^[1]^[2] It also has stimulant, sedative, and anxiolytic effects, with the latter two occurring only at higher doses.^[3]^[4] Its mechanism of action has never been determined but it has been suggested that it may act as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor and/or GABAergic.^[5]
